Ludlow

Ludlow was described by John Betjeman as "..England’s finest town" and by Country Life Magazine as "England's finest market town."

Ludlow is a medieval town. It is described as an "architectural paradise" boasting around 500 listed buildings, many of them being in regular use.

The town offers something for everyone without compromising on quality. It is steeped in tradition and history. There is always something going on, regular festivals that take place in the Norman castle, a speciality market in the town square, National Hunt racing and lots of good eating places as well as Michelin- starred restaurants. Its very much a live market town that combines 'living history' with the best aspects of the modern world.

Ludlow castle is a Grade 1 listed historic monument dating back to ?  The parish church of St Laurence is beautiful church described as "a jewel in the town's architectural crown."

Throughout the year there is an exciting programme of events including regular Antique & Flee, Local Produce, Book and Craft  Markets. It is a centre of art and music events. For those with sporting interests there fishing in the River Teme and there are National Hunt meets held regularly.
